Switzerland backs UBS in U.S. tax case

The Swiss government said Friday it is asking a Miami court to reject a U.S. government petition that would force UBS AG UBS-N to hand over the names of thousands of wealthy Americans who might be withholding almost $15-billion (U.S.) in assets from U.S. taxes.
